On August 8, the 50 Rotary clubs in our local Rotary District, made up of clubs in Michigan and Ontario, will be participating in a day of food collection and delivery to each club’s small local food pantry.  Since the staff and students of Renaissance High School are so helpful to us with our Shoes For Kids program, we’d like to give back to RHS by our club’s participation in the food pantry service project at Renaissance High School. Theirs is a community pantry that is located outside the high school which can be accessed 24/7.  It is “give what you can and take what you need” idea. Members of the Clarkston Rotary Club are collecting food and will deliver the food items to the high school before joining other Rotary club members from Michigan and Ontario for a delicious meal, a recap of the day of outreach, and general fellowship.
